DBM575A (100% Wool — Super 110s)
The canvassed option provides a more durable jacket and assists the jacket in forming to the body over time. Fused is recommended for suits that wont be worn weekly. Read our Journal for further information.
Two buttons are the standard choice for suits, however the one button suits are becoming trendier. Three-button suits work best for the taller gentleman. Double‐ breasted jackets offer a more dignified classic look and are best worn with a peak lapel.
Choose the thickness of the lapel with the following three options: Slim, Standard and Wide
Select from three different lapel styles: notch, peak or shawl. Notch lapels are the popular choice and are the recommended lapel for the modern suits. Peak lapels offer a bold choice most suited to double‐breasted jackets and the shawl lapel for Tuxedos. The slim options are best for the more modern look.
Suit Society recommends the normal flap pockets, as you can tuck these pockets in and also don the classic besom pocket look. The ticket pocket is a trendy option that best suits double‐breasted suit.
Four plain buttons are recommended for corporate wear. However, the overlap options provide an edgier alternative that will help your suit jacket stand out from the crowd.
Central or side vents are recommended and provide are more comfortable fit. The choice between the two are matter of personal preference.
Let your personality stand out with your choice of lining.
The pleated option is a more traditional look and does provide a more relaxed fit at the front of the pants. The plain front is a trendier option and provides a more modern and fitted look.
Suit Society recommends the double besom with button option. Not only does it provide secure back pockets, it also has less chance of catching onto anything whilst sitting down.
Half front lining is recommended for protecting wear at the front of the pants and still maintaining the pants breathability.
Personalise your custom suit with your own monogram.
Suit Society recommends the slimmest fit for the slimmer gentleman. In a jacket, the slimmest fit accentuates the points between the shoulders, stomach and waist. For the broader gentleman we recommend the slim fit and for the larger gentleman, the regular tight fit.
Pic Stitching — An indicative sign of a tailored suit (No Pic Stitching suits a more sleek and modern look).
Satin Lapel — For the tuxedo look
Extra pants — If you wear your pants daily and your jacket stays hanging up, we recommend a second pair of pants for longevity.
