Construction
Description
The canvassed option provides a more durable jacket and assists the jacket in forming to the body over time. Fused is recommended for suits that wont be worn weekly. Read our Journal for further information.

Front button
Description
Two buttons are the standard choice for suits, however the one button suits are becoming trendier. Three-button suits work best for the taller gentleman. Double‐ breasted jackets offer a more dignified classic look and are best worn with a peak lapel.

Lapel width
Description
Choose the thickness of the lapel with the following three options: Slim, Standard and Wide

Lapel style
Description
Select from three different lapel styles: notch, peak or shawl. Notch lapels are the popular choice and are the recommended lapel for the modern suits. Peak lapels offer a bold choice most suited to double‐breasted jackets and the shawl lapel for Tuxedos. The slim options are best for the more modern look.

Lower pockets
Description
Suit Society recommends the normal flap pockets, as you can tuck these pockets in and also don the classic besom pocket look. The ticket pocket is a trendy option that best suits double‐breasted suit.

Sleeve buttons
Description
Four plain buttons are recommended for corporate wear. However, the overlap options provide an edgier alternative that will help your suit jacket stand out from the crowd.

Vents
Description
Central or side vents are recommended and provide are more comfortable fit. The choice between the two are matter of personal preference.

Vest
Description
Your vest will be a simple V‐neck, 6 buttons on the front and with your fabric and strap on the back. These styles work best for most gentlemen. Email us with any preferred styling options if you desire.

Fit
Description
Suit Society recommends the slimmest fit for the slimmer gentleman. In a jacket, the slimmest fit accentuates the points between the shoulders, stomach and waist. For the broader gentleman we recommend the slim fit and for the larger gentleman, the regular tight fit.
