A Note from Suit Society
We're proud to have been part of Lily and Regan's incredible wedding weekend in the Byron Bay hinterland. Regan wore a custom white Suit Society for the ceremony, while the groomsmen wore custom dark brown suits - chosen by Regan to complement the bridesmaids' rich burgandy palette.

Lily and Regan gathered 35 of their closest friends and family at Lo Scoglio — an Italian-style villa tucked into the rolling hills of the Byron Bay hinterland — for a three-day wedding celebration designed to feel like a shared holiday rather than a single event.
The weekend opened with sunset canapés and a candlelit three-course Italian dinner, with groomsmen setting the tone with a heartfelt welcome speech. From the very first evening, the weekend balanced effortless warmth with genuine artistry — a feeling that carried through every moment.
"I had always envisioned a wedding that felt more like a shared holiday than a single event." — Lily, the Bride
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place on an elevated patch of grass that Lily and Regan knew instantly was right when they first visited the venue. Florist Brær Studio created creamy, ruched draping cascading from the villa's second storey, paired with sculptural floral installations that brought romance and artistry to the space — a collaboration with fabric installation artist The Seasalter Co.
Celebrant Lauren Bridge led the ceremony. The day was filled with deeply personal touches — including a gold bangle set with her late father's birthstone gifted by the bridesmaids, and a pendant Regan secretly added to Lily's bouquet before she walked down the aisle.

The Suits — Groom & Groomsmen by Suit Society
For the ceremony, Regan wore a custom white suit by Suit Society — relaxed yet polished, perfectly suited to the Byron Bay hinterland setting. As the evening arrived, he transitioned into a black jacket for the reception.
After seeing the bridesmaids' deep burgundy palette come together, Regan independently chose custom dark brown suits from Suit Society for the groomsmen. The result was a cohesive, considered look that complemented the rich tones of the bridal party beautifully against the Italian villa backdrop.

The Reception
The reception unfolded outdoors at sunset. Planner and stylist Elope introduced curved tables that became immersive garden landscapes — florals, moss, and sculptural grasses flowing through the centre, all glowing beneath hundreds of candles.
As the evening deepened, the couple surprised guests with a fire show, a heartfelt nod to the fire dancers they'd watched together at the moment of their engagement in Koh Samui. In place of a traditional wedding cake, guests enjoyed tiramisu by Maria's Byron Bay.
The Recovery — Slim Aarons by the Pool
The final day channelled the sun-drenched, effortlessly chic spirit of photographer Slim Aarons — poolside grazing tables, a matcha bar, and unhurried hours with their closest friends. As the sun set over the hinterland, the couple stood on the deck together, looking out at the hills — their favourite moment of the entire weekend.
